Dominique Roberfroid

Doctor and epidemiologist

Doctor and holder of a Master’s degree in epidemiology, a Master’s degree in anthropology, and a PhD in health sciences from the University of Amsterdam. He has worked for many years in Haiti and Africa, particularly on issues of maternal and child malnutrition. He is currently a senior medical expert and epidemiologist at the Federal Centre for Healthcare Expertise (KCE), which is the key agency for scientifically informing health policy in Belgium. He is also an associate professor in epidemiology & EBM and public health at the University of Namur, Belgium. Author of numerous scientific articles and administrator of Doctors of the World – Belgium, he places social justice and access for vulnerable populations to quality healthcare at the heart of his reflections and commitment.
