Compassionnate Hearts for Palestine
The project was launched with the aim of providing vital aid to Palestinians in distress, particularly the children of Gaza, a territory devastated by ongoing conflicts. In a situation where most hospitals are closed and schools are no longer functioning, our mission is to offer concrete and immediate support by delivering emergency medical care and educational solutions to those who need them most.

Our action lies on a team located in Belgium and in Gaza and in particular on the Dr Ahmed Almoghrabi, a renowned surgeon who successfully escaped the bombing and arrived in Belgium in October 2024. Thanks to his local contacts on the ground, Dr Almoghrabi enables us to implement rapid actions without any intermediaries.
OUR PROJECT
Opening of our school in Deir al-Balah in September 2025
Our school was initially opened in Gaza City, but all residents had to leave, following the bombings of the city. We therefore moved the school to the center of the Gaza Strip, in Deir al- Balah, in September 2025, relocating all the teachers, their families, and the school. The school operates under tents.

We now have 500 children and 8 teachers. Classes for all primary school years have been opened for children aged 6 to 12. We have teachers in Arabic, mathematics, history, and English language, in accordance with the Palestinian school curriculum. The courses have also been approved by the Ministry of Education.

These children also need psychological support. Most of them suffer from war-related trauma. We organize assistance for these children.

This school is completely free of charge and open to children from all social backgrounds, and all school supplies are fully covered by us. The teachers are also paid by our association.
The particularity of our schools is their mobility. Since the schools are set up in tents, we are able to relocate the school while also relocating the teachers, as the population movements imposed by Israel require significant flexibility to keep this project running in the long term.
OUR PROJECT
Opening of our school in Gaza City in August 2025
In August 2025, we decided to open a new school in Gaza City. This was made possible thanks to the support of the Jean-François Peterbroeck Foundation, the Couleur Café Festival, private sponsors, and many small donors who play a crucial role in our work.

It was essential for us that children could return to school after two years of closures. Around three hundred children were enrolled. The school remained open for five weeks because, starting in September 2025, the populations of Gaza City were ordered to leave the city before the bombings.
In the face of famine, we also provided meals, as many of these children were not eating every day.
Our Objectives
Multiply the creation of schools
Faced with the destruction of most schools in Gaza, we decided to take action by opening schools to give Gazan children the opportunity to continue studying and learning in a supportive environment. Our ambition is to further develop these initiatives and enable an ever-growing number of children to access education, despite difficulties.

Offer prothesis to the injured children
The conflict has caused numerous amputations among children, who often do not have access to prosthetics. We have partnered with UGANI Prosthetics, a global leader in 3D-printed prosthetics. Thanks to their innovative technology, we can provide prosthetics quickly and at a lower cost. Our goal is to supply thousands of prosthetics to children in Gaza, in order to offer them a better quality of life.
Deploy a mobile laboratory of 3D prothesis.
To address the urgent need for prosthetics in Gaza, we plan to create a mobile PrintLab—an entirely self-sufficient unit capable of producing prosthetics. This lab will be set up in Egypt or the West Bank to become operational quickly and provide equipment to patients waiting for a prosthetic.
As soon as conditions allow, we aim to move this unit directly into Gaza.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
Our engagement in action
In a very short time since its creation, The Wings of Healing has already succeeded—thanks to everyone’s support—in carrying out several actions in support of the Palestinian people.
Together, let’s take action to make our world a place of peace and freedom.
